A Long-Time Science Nerds’ Novel Idea of How Gravity, Space-Time, and Relativity works

For a long time I’ve been interested in Science… especially the stuff that seems like magic but is everyday stuff

I have a theory about the universe…

What if the universe was not empty…

What if the universe is like a balloon or a bubble full of itself (no pun intended ;), rather than air.

Imagine a balloon where the volume was actually made of rubber material or ‘filament’ the same as the exterior… so the whole balloon is like a porous piece of really flexible rubber.

If you blow into it via air, or water… or ANY type of fluid (or even energy) it would expand not only the exterior, but also the interior… since the insides of the balloon is connected via these string filaments… they would also stretch.

So when you pour energy into this ‘system’ .. it stretches any/all points inside apart, right along with the volume of the entire balloon.

Now imagine that these filaments formed knots due to their tangling with each other… and also that these filaments have specks of other material that makes up for approximately 5% of the matter in the balloon…

This entire contraption would likely be just like how we observe the universe to work now…

Even gravity works the same…

It would also explain why macro and micro gravity are different… or why any laws of physics are different between scales…

Because of emergent properties. Its like the difference between how individual threads of a fabric weave together, versus how whole pieces of cloth work together… Its like the difference between water molecules and ocean waves…

Macro gravity has to do with how dark matter (the rubber filaments in our balloon) interacts with itself and buoyant matter… while microgravity has to do with how constituents of dark matter interacts with itself.

But idk… I'm just a dude that likes science way too much despite not being any kind of physicist or any good at advanced maths…

I have no way of ‘proving’ any of this… at least not until I can make this contraption IRL…

One day…

But until then, I’ll just leave a summary of that likely not-so-clear scenario.

Key Points:

• The universe is a balloon full of 70% all the same matter (the material that makes up the balloon and its volume), 20% energy or fluid (the stuff that expands the balloon), and 5% buoyant matter (specks of material that displaces the balloon’s matter)
• The filaments are somehow connected all around the balloon 360/720…
• The stretchy material/filaments is dark matter
• The buoyant material (matter) is lighter/less dense than the balloon’s material (dark matter)
• The buoyant matter stuck in the balloon’s material may have come from outside of the balloon when energy was forced put in… or it is the manifestation of the smaller filaments fraying and then bunching up in really tight knots…
• The energy/fluid poured into the system/balloon is dark energy, it is akin to how blowing in a balloon fills it up with air
• The way in which the filaments get tangled creates black holes and other phenomena, this can be modeled by simply bunching any fabric by twisting it… all threads anywhere near that area of the cloth leads into this twisted (or curved) area… You can twist it into really tight but small knots, where the twist is deeper and thus the threads of the cloth that are close to the area of the twist are all ‘straighter’ and tighter.. meaning any thing traveling along these threads would get there faster…
  Conversely, a loosely made twist would affect much more of the fabric and have a much wider area of curved fabric, but the threads would all have more slack… so anything traveling along those threads would not travel into the twist epicenter so fast.
• The elasticity and reciprocity(ability to bounce back) of the rubber filaments is what creates the phenomena we know as gravity. Any buoyant matter pushes other matter away, but that means the filaments of the balloon’s matter (dark matter) pushes back and keeps it in place… so even if a really big marble and a really small speck of sand where against each other, technically, the rubber filaments of the balloon would push down on both, such that the two pieces of buoyant matter (marble and sand) would push each other with the force of their mass.
• This can be seen if you have a tight ball of rubber bands, or even two strips of cloth wound together… pushing any object between them means each is pushing against each other, the rate at which something is pushed into another is always the same because the filaments are all pushing with the same force, but the ‘gravity’ changes because it is depending on the mass and even movement of the object (since movement causes the filaments to bulge away and snap back as well).
• Filaments/strings may be able to be substituted for wave/particles… but either way, they are the constituent ‘threads’ that make up the ‘fabric’ of the universe

I know there is already a Theory of Superfluidity… I suppose this is related… I just wanted to have some type of ‘visual’ model that I could one day make toys/tools out of so that the average person can understand how the universe works… I doubt I achieved that here… but its fun sharing the thought.

Heres a fun thought: The filaments, the materials of the universe… ‘dark matter’… all exists in a singularity, in its subjective perception. Meaning there are no distinguishable particles … every ‘piece’ of dark matter is in the same spot as every other piece. To a photon, there is no universe, because as soon as it is released it has reached its destination… because its source and destination are ‘physically’ all the same…
However, we, as the buoyant material, can see and live outside the singularity because we are ‘foreign’ matter… The photons/light we see is the effect of living ‘outside’ the dark matter…
Putting all this together… it thus means that light ‘cant escape the pull of gravity”… its that the (dark) matter is twisted in such a way that all ‘threads’ the photons would travel only lead into the dark hole…

Heres another fun thought: There is no real ‘pulling’ force in the universe… everything pushes from a place of high pressure/saturation to a place of low pressure/saturation… osmosis, thermodynamics, whatever… nothing actually pulls anything…
