Can I steal this??

I’ve been failing around that same point! Sometimes I’ve lasted a bit longer, sometikes only half that…
I’ve been writing on here for over two years, but still find it hard to produce my best content, or even be consistent on the long term.
I need a system! A framework and method of writing that helps me create great work every single day. Not only will it be easier, but it will be more effective in getting me to share the very type of information I want to share.
🚀Today I paid a visit to Year Up, a great nonprofit organization that works to close the Opportunity Divide by taking disadvantaged urban youths and training us to work in corporate. It was there that I really got into business and technology, and due to them that I even had a chance to learn about startup culture. It was great just walking around the office space, seeing so many more students and soon-to-be interns. I also caught up with my old Advisor, who is now th Regional Director, she very much inspires me.
🚀I then met up with my boss (GaTech mechanical engineering grad) and our developer team (two computer science Master degree students) on our ‘first day as a startup' after a year of operating a Virtual Reality arcade. They started the arcade only a two months after trying the Vive. After the first few weeks, they never really met up at the same time in the same place hahaha. But now we’re (I joined 8 months ago) looking to grow our unique software in order to franchise and branch out. It was awesome just all being in one place to bounce ideas and questions and comraderie together… I find it so amazing that even with all this tech, and a whole new reality around the corner, there is still no good replacement for physical presence and the tactile reward of placing sticky notes on the ‘Done’ column.
🚀We also met with the founders of a local marketing agency who helped us figure out where the hell we went so wrong on our Facebook advertising strategy (ie the lack thereof). We helped them sound out their software plans for a new venture. And we all just enjoyed some great conversation about the state of the startup industry, technology, investment and so on.
I greatly look forward to this summer!! Its going to be a LOT. As both the startups I now earn stock in are ramping up at the same time. Requiring more work and time commitment from me… but it just forces me to be better a time management and efficiency.
If Elon Musk and others can found multiple huge companies, theres no reason why I can’t work at two small ones and still push my personal productivity to the next level.
Call to action: Don’t be afraid to demand more from yourself! What are some things you want to get done? What (excuses) do you tell yourself in your head about your ability to do that which you dream?
Write these down, then audit your life (tally everything) to see where you can improve.
