Day 10: Building Another Room and Playing around with curved-images

It's late so I’ll come back to edit this tomorrow…

I created a whole new room! Idk about showing it yet…. but here’s a sneak peak haha

I may have to seriously redesign the whole layout… but for now, its fun just adding on to it.

Interestingly enough… I am actually getting a hang of all the weird terms… thetastart and thetalength… how curved images work… how scaling works… all of that… Really great finally getting a hang of the basics!

I *really* want to play around with interactive stuff… how to select and animate, etc

But for now, my goal for tomorrow is…

Build another room.. or two haha… I want to at least just add all the rooms I designed in my wireframe.

Days 10–13

I did a lot… and yet so little…

I keep skipping days :/ … Really crazy how hard it is to stick to a flow/time when you’re the only one accountable for your own schedule and tasks.
Its hard…

Not really an excuse… or rather it's just an excuse… but yeah, I missed some days… but I like to turn my failures into wins just because I’ve had a history of taking it so hard that I doubt myself and lose confidence and turn it into a snowball effect…

But nevertheless!

I made a Breakthrough…

After finally getting my ‘space-time box’ page looking right, I realized something…

If you move out of this little box (that has so much space)…

There's a bunch of Space!!

I even tried to get a sense of perspective. The one in the back is the same height as the one in the front (20x away), and so is that one Waaaaaay in the distance! (Like 800 times away from the screen than the first!)

I mean… I had figured that this was all done in some ‘void’… but after really seeing how expansive, and technically endless this void was…

I had to ask…

What if you could fill this whole thing up with rooms?? With more ‘holodecks’ and such??

What if you had a whole Town of different rooms all made my different people, of different sizes and shapes and designs??

What if you had half the Internet in one space like this?? Where you could actually navigate to/through websites, with other people, just like you would IRL?? (of course with nifty lil methods of transportation like teleportation)

Twould be so damn cool and fascinating and such an immersive experience!!

So now I know my next few steps…

1. Make the UX interactive (right now its just moving around)
2. Add interesting, useful, and and engaging content (that ‘fits’ better than the traditional content)
3. Turn it into an MMO… haha.. utilize some backend stuff (gah) to enable visitors to actually see each other!
4. (Later) Add the ability for others to create their own rooms!!
5. Profit! :P

15 Days Later

I missed like ALL THE DAYS!!

GAAAAHHH!!

So ehm… Im just gonna publish what I got today, on 2/9/17… im typing this very sentence at 2:23am… Im going to work for as long as my brain can put together sentences (dont wanna call these html lines ‘code’)… then I’ll just git push and publish this.

6:52am… I stayed up All Night working on this… well, partially, was also listening to Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman, Paul Graham, Jessica Livingston, and Elon Musk :D
Gotta accompany my work with the voices of admirable peoples!

7:57am… Now time to publish!!
