Fusing #Blogumentaries with the #IdeaMachine

I wonder if I can fuse the #blogumentary style with the #ideamachine style…

Here are 10 ideas based on some things I did today:

I woke up late, much tired from staying up late reading about string theory again…

• We (or I) need a bot or something to keep my butt into getting up and get moving even when I feel tired or just unmotivated or useless.

I updated myself on the state of YCs UBI research experiment in anticipation of being considered for the next test group. I also saw that they too were interested in building cities.. but of course they're much further in that endeavor than me…

• What if they funded UBI by asking billionaires to contribute at least 1–2% of their worth… ie 1–8B (a one time payment.. likely in installments… not a tax, just a donation)… If just 10% of the 540B contributed… that would be ~54–432B … enough to pay the UBI for several million people. This would indeed be a large enough experiment to really show some results.
  The important about the idea is not the money, but that they can offer the billionaires ‘first dibs’ on whatever businesses or other ventures UBI participants start… this is not a contract deal… its just an agreement that will allow the sponsors some manner of investment in not just the future of humanity, but the possibility of entrepreneurial success to further help them.

I ate a delicious plate of waffles, strawberries, banana, and bacon…

• A banana, berry, bacon sandwich between waffles should definitely be a thing. Would fit right in at Waffle House or Ihop!

I was very hungry even before lunch time

• An interface/widget that can quantify your satiation levels and even suggest what to eat (within your means) to actually fill you up

I listened to way too many Complex News interviews… I just find Joe Budden and his interactions with DJ Akademiks and their guests to be so interesting. Not to mention his passion for hip-hop is infectious! Also, Lil Yachty, Wale, and 2 Chainz are really smart and cool people…

• There should be a playbook or manual or some kind of HipHop bible that does everything from breaking down the culture to defining both street and business terms commonly used in the industry, as well as identifying the cycle of fame. It should serve to educate fans, rappers, critiques, businessmen, and anyone else about all things hiphop. Rife with ample examples of great bars, ‘secret’ business practices, trends, and so on.

I went to the pool, danced till I swear bullets, and swam like a man who really thinks he might could be an olympic swimmer in another life. I also played with and on a giant duckie float.

• I just want something that teaches me how to swim.. or at least how to float…I guess I'm just too scared of drowning to truly ‘let go’ and float.

I tried so hard to understand how Branes are related to Strings and what dimensions they are referring to if not the compacted ones of string theory… i think i got it…

• String Theory… and perhaps most esoteric sciences, seriously need an engaging yet accurate visualization of what its all about… for the layman.

I talked with my soulmate a lot.. wishing i could teleport over to her whenever I wanted.

• Teleportation… seriously. Lets make it happen. Apparently are minds are more equipped to handle teleportation than fast movement. So how about we use this knowledge of quantum fields and ideas of extra dimensions to either figure out how to reduce and rebuild build people from waveforms or how to create pocket dimensions that allow us to ‘fold’ through the mathematically sound 4th dimension.

I ate some rice and not-quite-done chicken.. twas good.. and did the dishes.

• Either let me recook meat with a lil device that actually cooks it (not reheat or microwave) that gets the blood out of the meat… or let me 3d print meat using protein and whatever else is in chicken… but I should be able to play around a bit with the ingredients to add or remove certain chemicals… that includes being able to add spices into the very fabrication of said chicken/meat (and other foods while we’re at it).

I watched a video on Quantum Field Theory and feel like I miiiight be getting it all!

• So apparently the whole strings thing comes from the QFT idea that everything is fields.. which is basically just 3d vibrations… (like how sound travels by ‘pushing’ through the air)
  These vibrations are in turn probabilities of something happening. All that stems from the fact that subatomic particles are basically points… points are 0 dimensional objects… they have no length, width, or height. They are just a position… so trying to measure them is like trying to measure a piece of sound… a note of music floating on the wind… We dont measure music like that… we measure how and what music/sound interacts with. Which is how I came up with this idea… what if we could help people visualize or give an ‘imagining’ of QFT fields and Strings via music + computer (particularly VR) simulations of what 3D vibrations of these fields might look like…
