How long before being stuck in the Mirror Realm is no longer fun? :P

Penitence — 24 Ideas in 2 Days

Only one day in… and I missed a day…

And it was totally on purpose.

I could have, and probably should have, shared what I had yesterday, but I was too in my feelings, and I knew it… but also because I wanted a ‘reason’ to share my 10 Ideas a Day sessions publically.
And now I incidentally ended up failing to actually draw up my wireframes for what I have today, so that’s a second day missed…
Thus, here are two dozen ideas I had over the weekend.
(Yes, at least a third of them are inspired by Doctor Strange…)

  1. Autotune/music visualizer that lets you see the sound of your voice… shows your natural voice and how/where the device re-tunes your voice-notes to match the right tune
    * Can see what a flat note or a sharp note sounds/looks like
    * Can see notes on a measure/scale to help read music
    * Can ‘write’ music by just singing/humming (even roughly) the tune
  2. Nail clipper that puts some kinda nail-debuffer that ensures your nails dont grow (can wash off with really hot water or by clipping it off or something…)
  3. Emotion visualizer.. Similar to the music visualizer, but with emotions.. Perhaps also lets you ‘autotune’ emotions? So things that feel off can be ‘tuned’ temporarily until you can and do feel better? A bit of help to manage and bring you up when you’re really low… or mad/annoyed… helps take the ‘edge’ off in a non-destructive way…
  4. Emo Box Toy- a standalone ‘box of emotions’ in which folks can play and manipulate than even stick their head in or just sniff or something to experience emotions they may never or rarely ever experience naturally…
  5. Empathy Box — similar to above but has emotions so deep and storied that they actually allow you to experience life in someone else’s shoes..
  6. Aura visualizer — able to see someone else’s emotions and general ‘feel’ (if they enable it? And if they dont have a firm control/grip on them, can thus see how well ppl keep control)
  7. Storyteller AI app that helps you build a good story by helping you through the outline process… ensuring you flesh out all the parts of the story before premature writing
  8. Insta-song maker… software that can turn even the roughest mouth sounds into music… similar to the autotune visualizer but meant chiefly to translate
  9. Multiverse Proc-Gen sim — Simulates possible multiverses and dimensions…
  10. Fractal fapper — App that generates fractals, out of anything, infinitely… very relaxing
  11. 4D Windows, like Doctor Strange, but for regular windows to allow people to feel like they are someplace else just by looking out a window.. Can use the same control orb :P
  12. Doctor Strange-based game where you can mess with buildings and entire cities with the power of fractals..
  13. Way to build a particle accelerator that takes less space but builds more velocity with tighter spirals…
  14. Sling ring-type item that uses magnetic fields to control things… or even light(visible spectrum EMwaves) to create visual ‘magic’
  15. Smart Fabric — AI empowered clothes that can move on their own and perform certain actions, similar to the ‘Cloak of Levitation’
  16. Rocket Boots — Use some sort of controlled Liquid Nitrogen and Water (Or Coca Cola for extra power) reaction to recreate Vaulting Boots of Valtorr… add light effects by projecting laser light onto the cloud of vapor
  17. App thing that allows you to ‘pack’ or ‘unpack’ anything you/others say or do with meaning. Helps to practice critical/analytical thinking…
Ex: What is my purpose for doing 10 Ideas a day?
    Pack: Because X,Y,Z…and ABC123 reason…
Unpack: Because.. reasons.. I felt like it
This will also help to get an idea for the spectrum of meaning and thought people fall under…
  18. VR Sandbox game that allows one to create and manipulate the world around them on the fly, en masse (Doctor Strange and Shelter inspired)
  19. Way to create visual magic by releasing microscopic flammable filaments (gunpowder? something that lights ‘slowly’) into the air but controlling them with customizable magnetic fields. Magnetic fields can be designed in a digital interface, (or ‘drawn’ free hand, in air?) and uses same principle as Polymagnet’s programmable/printable magnets to control the actual magnetic field… Filaments can only ‘live’ within a few inches of magnet source (a ‘power gauntlet’ tribute?) before oxidizing into dust
  20. Field/Wave visualizer — AR tool to ‘see’ sound waves, magnetic fields, and EMwave spectrums. Can tune into different ones based on proximity, frequency, amplitude, rarity, etc… If real-time observation wont work (ie may interfere with signals due to quantum effects), then just use a program that simulates accurate depictions based on the mathematical models of said waves, then overlay that to stand in for actual live fields and wave signals
  21. Genius IRL — AR tool that can read/pick up what people say then find and transcribe any allusions, metaphors, etc for the user. Can double not as an Urban Dictionary, but as a Folklore database and Local codeswitching/ cultural awareness tool…
  22. Quiet Life — AR tool that automatically ‘quiets’ the world of anything you want… ie of technological influence, of people/things you dont like, etc… comes with a warning messages and an ‘echo chamber meter’ to show you exactly how far in a hole of ‘unreality’ you are digging yourself into…
  23. Mindwriter — Reverse mindreader tool that helps you to be aware of your surface thoughts to then better control and create them… also helps to teach machines/software how to understand your thoughts to later create a mind-to-mind communication machine and then integrate with them
  24. (Auto, Digital) Underground Railroad creator — Software that automatically creates ways to escape, be free from, and otherwise empower indie communities and people from oppressive monopolies and systems. Creates a method of fast communication (IRC plus Communal MessageBoard); creates a way to exchange goods and services (deep web); finds resources, tools, and destination for the movement. Wraps it all up in an encrypted (via blockchain?), peer to peer system.
Can be used for ‘small things’ like supporting indie gamers wanting to create their own gamer community apart from the influence of AAA games, toxic/immature communities, and controlling game launchers. Or as ‘big’ as supporting ethnic groups who want to build a community/society apart from the oppression of deeply flawed and aggressively colonial systems.
A power dynamic equalizer… gives power to the people.

WOOOO!! That was fun :D

Please share, comment, and discuss these ideas! I’d love to talk more about em…
