Some #PathofaTrillionaire Lessons

Or, Some things I’m learning on my Journey to the Top…

Watch things related to your dreams.

Think about how you would do your own flavor of their content, and appreciate how long it took them to get there.
Hustle is key of course, but we’re still going to want to escape and be entertained. I still watch TV (Or rather YouTube, Netflix, etc).
If I am going to be passive and consume media… it will at least at least do to turn that into something that will actively help me.
Write what you learned from the things you watch to turn passivity into action

Have 2 or 3 other activities to turn to.

You wont always be able to focus on the main goal. Sometimes you will feel too overwhelmed, stressed out, lost or confused… you may just be bored or not in the mood. In all these cases, its best to have a few other productive side projects to ‘distract’ yourself with.
Not all distractions are a ‘waste of time;’ believe in yourself and your flexibility enough to always have something interesting to do.
Stay focused on the current goal, even if other things seem more interesting, never do anything half-heartedly.

Forgive yourself…

Learn to love yourself and accept your downfalls, not as failures, but as opportunities for learning, growth, and outsourcing/delegation.
Go hard on your goals, your actions, your dreams, etc… but dont go (too) hard on yourself.

Dont pass up on opportunities so easily…

Especially if they are non-standard or ‘random’… not only is the chance of unplanned success welcome, but the inclusion of this as part of a cool arc in your (origin) story will make you more unique, interesting, and able to live a life without regret.
Do a real cost vs benefit (pros/cons) list to see if the benefits outweigh the costs… In the case that they are balanced… choose whichever seems more interesting or whichever choice will not make you regret not choosing the other later down the line.
If ‘two paths diverged’ just the same… you will later (mis)remember that one to be ‘what made all the difference’

Document your journey. Every single day…

Or at least as often as you possibly can. You never know when or where or which thing will ‘pop off’ or bring major value to someone, even years later. So optimize that chance by sharing more of your journey.
Start with at least one method of documentation, preferably your strongest/most accesible/favorite. Branch out into other mediums of sharing/documenting yourself once the daily habit is built.

Connect. Network. Build Relationships.

Reach out to others with similar dreams/goals. Finding and surrounding yourself with people of similar mindsets can help all involved.
Help them, give value, share insight, etc… they will one day likely be a great network/friend/asset to call upon

Have Patience.

Nothing quick (easy) is worth having. Nothing good comes quick (easy).
Enjoy the journey of Life, the difficulty of the Game, the effort of the Win.

Thanks so very much for reading!!

Please share your thoughts… Share this message… And take the 0.52 seconds atop the 3 minutes it took to read this to do the heart thing and validate my life… I dont need it… but GOTdamn it feels good…
